Welcome to the 2012 Home Run Pool Tracker. These links re-direct you to ESPN.com MLB profiles where you can follow the stats and news of your selections as well as those of the competition during the course of the 2012 baseball season. Total Home Runs wins the pool, total RBI breaks any tie, sudden death “Rock-Paper-Scissors” break any RBI tie.
Official Home Run Pool rankings are maintained by Commissioner Nick Bonham, and will be posted weekly (more or less).
There are six fewer participants in this year’s contest and that contraction could lead to one of the more competitive HR Pools in recent memory. Newsroom pundits indicate it’ll take 110 home runs to win this year’s pool. The Manny-Purfield clause is being implemented for the first time this year as well. Should one of your selections retire or go on the 60-day Disabled List prior to the All-Star break, you can select a replacement. See Nick for more details.
