Fall’s been taking it’s time in southern Colorado this year. It’s been a near endless Indian summer until a cold front briskly blew through the region a couple of afternoons ago.

Last night, temperatures dropped into the teens for the first time this autumn, dusting the yard with frost and doing a number on the shrubs and trees around the house that had grown accustomed to the balmy weather.
