Last week I was perusing my Twitter feed when a pair of Tweets caught my attention. The first concerns itself with a photographer’s first successful emulsion lift of an Impossible Project 8×10-inch film. Two minutes later a reporter Tweeted his television station was the first to provide live video about a fatal accident at a local hospital.

That the “death lifts” Tweet preceded the fatal hospital elevator accident Tweet was just weird, almost creepy.
But not as weird as watching Twitter’s stock jump from $26 to $45 moments after its Wall Street debut yesterday.
