The Coronavirus’ impact on the health of Pueblo County residents has been less than other Colorado counties. There have been almost Nearly 250 positives out of 4,300 tests administered in Pueblo County, or 5.8% of people who have been tested through May 22, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Dept. There have been 15 deaths attributed to COVID-19 during that time.

By comparison, Arapahoe County has reported over 4,000 cases and 280 deaths, Boulder County’s reported 932 cases and 61 deaths, and Jefferson County’s reported nearly 2,100 cases and 146 deaths from Coronavirus through May 22.

In the state of Colorado, there have been over 24,000 confirmed COVID cases and just over 1,300 deaths attributed to the virus. Nationally, there have been 1.3 million confirmed cases and over 98,000 deaths.
